My name is Kimberley Asante. I am a thirty-four-year-old woman that was born and raised in The Netherlands, The Hague. I moved to the United States to start a new adventure with my husband and we started our family. I have a loving husband and two energetic kids.
Besides family photography, I also own a food photography business, keep a blog for mom entrepreneurs, like to go travel with my family, cook authentic international dishes, write in my journal, build forts with my babies, and volunteer for organizations that help families in need.
My mom always purchased disposable cameras for me when I was a child, but it wasn’t until about ten years ago when my husband gifted me my first DSLR camera, that put me on the path I am on today. What started as a hobby, photographing all the beauty I discovered in Florida, has turned into a passion for helping families capture memorable moments in their lives. It has been so rewarding to do something I love.
After my daughter, Maya, was born, I experienced the bond between mother and daughter. I realized the importance of capturing journeys and milestones. Because of photography, I get to relive these beautiful moments every day. And that was the moment I decided to specialize in motherhood photography.
