A glimpse into the projects that speak to my heart.

Photography is more than my profession — it’s my way of seeing and feeling the world. While my professional work focuses on capturing your milestones and stories, this space is where I share the moments that move me personally. These projects are born from curiosity, travel, and the love of storytelling that first drew me to photography

Suriname, Paramaribo – November 2025

These images capture everyday homes in Suriname—simple, expressive, and full of history. Many houses here reflect a mix of cultures, climates, and generations, with wooden structures, raised foundations, wide verandas, and details shaped by both necessity and tradition.

The white house holds special meaning to me. It’s the home my father grew up in as a child. Standing there, camera in hand, I wasn’t just photographing architecture—I was documenting memory, ancestry, and a piece of my family’s story. Homes like this aren’t just places to live; they’re spaces where life unfolds slowly, where stories are passed down, and where resilience quietly lives in the walls.

These photographs are a reminder that beauty isn’t always polished or styled. Sometimes it’s found in layers of paint, weathered wood, open windows, and the feeling that a home has truly been lived in.

Through my lens, I wanted to honor the everyday beauty of Suriname—homes that carry warmth, history, and a deep sense of belonging.

Tampa, Florida – Aurora Borealis – November 2025

I went out hoping to witness the aurora borealis—knowing full well it might never fully appear. Sometimes nature doesn’t give you the show you expect, and instead offers something quieter.

I didn’t capture the aurora the way I imagined. It stayed just out of reach. But what I did see were stars—clear, steady, and patient—lighting up the sky in their own way. In that stillness, the camera slowed me down, and the moment became less about chasing something rare and more about noticing what was already there.

These images aren’t about the aurora itself. They’re about presence, patience, and accepting what the night chose to reveal. Sometimes what you capture isn’t the dream you had in mind—but it’s honest, beautiful, and enough.

Ghana, Accra – November 2022

In 2022, I traveled to Ghana with my family — a journey that was both grounding and inspiring. From the vibrant markets of Accra to the quiet coastal villages, every frame was a reminder of connection, culture, and resilience. I wanted to capture not just the beauty of the country, but the warmth of its people and the energy that fills the air.

This collection holds portraits, street moments, and landscapes that tell a story of homecoming — of rediscovering roots and finding art in everyday life.

Florida Supercon, July 2025

In July 2025, my family and I attended Florida Supercon in Miami Beach — a brilliant weekend immersed in cosplay, comics, gaming, and all things pop culture. The event spanned July 18-20 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

We walked the show floor, captured candid moments of fandom and expression, and captured the spirit of creativity and community that the event fostered. For me as a photographer, this was an inspiring break from studio sessions: I was drawn to the color, the movement, the characters people become — and I carried my camera to riff on those moments of transformation and joy.

This series celebrates the unexpected beauty of people — kids in costumes, parents embracing play, friends together in fandom and laughter. It’s about capturing the moment when someone becomes the hero, the villain, the legend — and how photography freezes that magic.
