Kimberley Hello, everyone! I’m thrilled to share a very special photo session I recently had with my wonderful mother. This session was particularly meaningful because it was a chance for me to pamper her and capture her beauty in a way she hadn’t experienced in over 20 years.
A Long-Awaited Pampering
To start the day, I surprised my mom with a professional makeup session. She had only had her makeup done by a professional once before, and that was more than two decades ago. Watching her enjoy the pampering and seeing the joy on her face was priceless. She looked absolutely radiant, and it was clear that she loved every moment of the experience.
A Beautiful Experience at the Studio
After her makeup session, we headed to my newly renovated studio. It was the perfect opportunity to take some beautiful pictures. My mom tried on dresses from my client closet, and she absolutely rocked them. Photographing her was such a beautiful experience because I got to see her shine in a way that she hadn’t before. She was in awe of how beautiful she looked in the photos, and I was thrilled to capture her in such a confident and joyful state.
Capturing Timeless Beauty
My mom loved the photos, and so did I! I’ve always thought she was beautiful, with or without makeup, so it was easy for me to work with her. Her natural beauty and the professional touch from the makeup artist made for stunning photos that we both cherish. Having her visit from Europe, where she lives in the Netherlands, made this session even more special. Since she only gets to visit once in a while, these moments are incredibly precious to me.
