A Studio Experience Designed for Comfort
For this session, we transformed one studio space into a dreamy backdrop while setting up the other studio as her private dressing room. This gave her a relaxed and comfortable place to change into the maternity gowns she loved. She had the freedom to select from my collection, and honestly, every gown looked incredible on her!

Overcoming a Language Barrier with Smiles & Connection
One of the most unique aspects of this session was that the expecting couple did not speak English, and I don’t speak Haitian Creole. At first, I wondered how we would communicate. But as soon as we started, I realized something important—photography is its own universal language.
Through smiles, gestures, and shared excitement, we understood each other perfectly. Mom responded effortlessly to small motions guiding her poses, and we laughed throughout the session. This reminded me that emotions, especially the excitement of parenthood, can bridge any language gap.
It’s proof that great photography doesn’t require words—just connection, trust, and the ability to capture authentic emotions.
