Seeing Familiar Faces Again
It meant so much to me when the P. Family reached out for another session. I still remember when their kids were so tiny, and seeing them again — bigger, louder, and full of personality — was such a reminder of how quickly time moves. It’s always an honor when families come back after a few years and trust me again to capture this stage of their lives.
This time, we met at Apollo Beach, one of my favorite beaches in Hillsborough County. The setting felt relaxed and open, perfect for kids who want to explore and move freely.

A Session That Evolved Naturally
Initially, the parents were thinking of doing photos just of the kids, but I’m so glad they decided to join in as well. Those moments — parents standing close, sharing smiles, being part of the experience — are the ones that become priceless later on. These are the memories kids grow up looking back at, even if they don’t realize it yet.
Once everyone stepped into the session together, it all flowed so naturally.

Letting the Kids Be Kids
The kids had the best time. They searched for shells, wrote in the sand, kicked the water, and just fully enjoyed being at the beach. There was no rushing, no forcing poses — we followed their lead and let the moments unfold as they came.
Watching their sibling love was one of my favorite parts. The way they laughed together, shared little discoveries, and stayed close to each other made the session feel joyful and real.

Trying Something New
I also took this opportunity to experiment a bit with videography — something I’m really excited to expand on in 2026. Being able to capture movement, laughter, and interaction in video alongside photos felt like such a natural addition to this session.
The video came out so cute, and I loved having the creative space to try something new while still focusing on what mattered most — documenting genuine connection and a beautiful family moment.

Why Sessions Like This Matter
Sessions like this are exactly why I love family photography. Simple locations, curious kids, and families willing to just be present. I walked away from this session feeling so grateful — for the trust, the joy, and the chance to capture memories that will last far beyond this season.
