Kimberley A Session Close to My Heart
This session was a very special one for me. Photographing my mom at the beach wasn’t just about creating beautiful images — it was about creating memories together. I’ve photographed at this beach many times over the years, but there were still spots I had never explored, places I had always wanted to photograph but never had the chance to fully stop and try.
This session allowed me to do exactly that, and sharing that experience with my mom made it even more meaningful.
Two Visions Coming Together
With this session, we truly hit two birds with one stone. My mom was excited to wear my flying infinity dress, which is available to clients through my client closet, and I finally got to photograph in a beach spot I’ve had in mind for a long time. Seeing everything come together felt incredibly satisfying.
The dress flowed beautifully, and even though it was a little windy, the breeze worked completely in our favor. The movement added so much drama and softness to the images — it couldn’t have worked out better.
A Full Experience for Her
I wanted my mom to feel truly special during this session, and the entire experience reflected that. Her makeup was done beautifully by Jackie from Cumba Beauty, which helped elevate the whole look and made her feel confident and radiant.
Watching her step into the session, feeling beautiful and excited, was such a lovely thing to witness. Moments like these remind me how powerful photography can be — not just for images, but for how it makes someone feel.
Creating Memories Together
More than anything, I loved creating these memories with my mom. Time moves quickly, and having photos like these means so much more as the years pass. This session will always hold a special place in my heart — not just because of the images, but because of the experience we shared together.
