Celebrating One Year of Marriage
Photographing Billie and Tee as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary was such a special experience. There’s something really beautiful about couples choosing to document milestones like this — not because they have to, but because they want to pause and celebrate where they are together.
From the moment we started planning the session, I loved their vision. They wanted something romantic, something downtown, and something that highlighted the beautiful architecture Tampa has to offer.

Downtown Tampa as the Perfect Backdrop
We photographed their session at Tampa Theatre and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, two locations I’ve been wanting to photograph at for a long time. The architecture, the textures, and the sense of history at both places made the session feel timeless and intimate.
There’s something about downtown Tampa that feels romantic in a quiet, understated way — especially when you slow down and really take it in.

A Couple That Made It Effortless
Billie and Tee were an absolute joy to work with. They were relaxed, open, and fully present with each other. Nothing felt forced. The way they moved together, laughed together, and leaned into the moment made the session flow so naturally.
They trusted the process and allowed me the space to create — and that always makes such a difference.

Why Anniversary Sessions Matter
I love anniversary sessions because they tell a different kind of love story. They’re about choosing each other again. About recognizing growth, change, and connection. These are the photos couples look back on years from now and remember not just how they looked — but how it felt to be in that season together.
This session reminded me why I love photographing couples so much.

Looking Forward
I’m so grateful Billie and Tee chose me to document this milestone, and I truly couldn’t have imagined a better couple to photograph in these locations. I already can’t wait to work with them again and capture more chapters of their story as it continues to unfold.
